Program Description:

Program Overview
Located in the west of Ireland in the city of Galway, National University of Ireland, Galway (NUI-Galway) offers a wide range of subjects for study. In the heart of one of the Gaelic speaking areas of Ireland, Galway provides unique opportunities for contact with both traditional and modern Ireland.

Academics
Students studying abroad at NUI Galway can take courses in a large variety of areas, such as classics, history, Irish studies, psychology, and more.  Students generally take 5-7 classes each semester, the majority of which are lecture-based with tutorials and/or seminars.  For more information about academics at Galway, click here.  NOTE: National University of Ireland has a minimum 3.0 GPA admission requirement.  Students studying off-campus in the fall can bring up to 4.5 credits back to campus; students studying off-campus in the spring with interim can bring up to 5.5 credits back to campus.

Student Life
