Program Description:
This semester-long program offers serious, advanced students the opportunity to immerse themselves in arts study and exploration at Cornish College of the Arts, a private independent college of arts located in the heart of the thriving urban arts area of downtown Seattle, Washington.  Students may study arts in their individual areas of interest in the visual arts (Art, Design, Film + Media, Interior Architecture) and performing arts (Dance, Music, Performance Production, Theater), or in interdisciplinary theory and practice through The Creative Corridor, which provides exciting professional pathways for students to connect their learning to real-world practice and relevant social contexts.

The Cornish study program also introduces arts students to the type of life and careers available to artists in all disciplines.  Seattle has strong visual and performing arts communities, and this program offers St. Olaf College students the chance to explore the riches of an interdisciplinary arts scene.

Course selection should be planned in consultation with the student’s major department faculty. For a list of possible course options visit the website noted below.

There are no pre-approved GE courses for this program at this time.  Please contact the program advisor with questions.
