Ciao! Pack your bags and get ready to indulge your creative side in this modern city, known for its world-class art, architecture, design, and fashion. Absorb all that Milan has to offer through IES Abroad Milan's wide variety of courses and internships.

No matter what level of Italian you speak, we invite you to study here and experience Milan's rich culture. You are placed in an Italian language course that's been designed for you based on your language level.

Our Italy Today Program offers you courses in liberal arts and social sciences, all of which address aspects of contemporary Italian society. The courses are taught by highly qualified experts in their fields. You can also take courses at a local university—maybe you'll even make some Italian friends while you're at it.

The IES Abroad Milan Program
IES Abroad Milan welcomes students of all Italian language levels and offers a wide variety of courses and internships that take advantage of the city's reputation as a modern center of business and a world leader in music and art. It is an ideal program for students of Business, Music, Art History, Design & Fashion, and the Social Sciences.

Program Details

  • Accelerate language learning with a strong Italian curriculum that offers a range of language elective courses

  • Broaden music studies through a customized Music curriculum with opportunities at Accademia Internazionale della Musica

  • Enroll in English- & Italian-taught Business courses at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and Università Bocconi

  • Study Fashion and Design through course options at local universities

  • Choose English- & Italian-taught IES Abroad courses that explore topics related to Milan and Italy and incorporate a number of field study activities to sites in and around Milan

  • Take Italian-taught courses in a range of subjects at a variety of local universities

  • Acquire science lab research experience by assisting in a laboratory at the Università degli Studi di Milano – Bicocca
